Tomorrow is our last day before Winter Break. IVA has a full school day with dismissal at 3:20pm but we are celebrating the upcoming holiday season in two ways that are important to know.

1) It's a Cozy Holiday Free Dress Day! - Everyone is encouraged to wear pajamas or holiday sweaters or sweatpants. Cozy wear could come in handy for our staff here that has been filled with parent generosity, often in the form of sugar. And the most delicious lunch provided by the PTSA. Thank you! It might be time for us to be like our 6th graders who in the health portion of physical education tomorrow are starting off the holiday with nutritious snacks.

2) The second way we are celebrating is with an all family invitational tag game of Infection on the blacktop. Arrive to the pick up corner of the blacktop by 3:00pm to hear the directions for how to play. From 3:05 to dismissal at 3:20pm we are listening to music and playing tag but it will be so much more fun to have parents, siblings, cousins in town.... come one come all to our end of year tag game. You can even wear those sweatpants if it help you run faster.

Tomorrow is a big day and we are glad to get to spend it with your kids, maybe you too. Happy Holidays.
